Review

The restaurant is built on the terrace of the building named Vini Elegance. The building houses a big overpriced Tanishq showroom which you cant miss. You can take your car along as there is valet parking available. You enter the building, take a lift and reach the top floor. Coming out the person at the reception will take down you name and number. There are 2 entrances the restaurant provides. Both at to the terrace, one part of the entry to the main AC restaurant and the other to the other end of the right angled terrace. The entry part of the terrace houses chairs and tables for people to sit while they hear loud music playing throughout the terrace. The right angled end typically is used as a waiting area with chairs kept for your use. Its a massive terrace which can be used for a party as well.

So you have the option of either sitting outside with loud music playing and a wannabe lounge or you can enter the AC area which feels like a fine dine restaurant. We had to wait for about 15 minutes for us to get a space in the AC section on a Monday night. Once we got the space we had a look at the interiors which had a theme of an up class fine dine restaurant at a New York or Dubai. Though there was no music playing in the background it had loud people playing in the background. The interior is nicely done with ample space for families, couple and friends.

Going to food. We were quite amused at the options provided. Names which you have never heard before and an interesting combination of street food as well. We started off with Tulsi Tamatar Sorba. It was tasty and rich. For starters we ordered The Deconstructed Chowpatty which was a platter of Mumbai Chaat. Would recommend to try once for its uniqueness. Though average in taste. We asked the waiter to suggest something for starters and he recommended Achari Paneer Tikka. It was like any other Tandoori Paneer Tikka. We also ordered Celery Bhajia, yes the name attracted us. It was bland and tasteless. It is basically Maida Covered Fried Cheese. We also ordered a Ravioli Ariabiatta which was good. We also ordered two Punjabi dishes Paneer Makhani and Paneer Kesari. Of the two Paneer Kesari was good but Paneer Makhani was not cooked properly. We had to as the chef to make it again for us which he did but the taste did not improve much. We also ordered breads which were suggested along with the dish you order in the menu provided. We also ordered Kiwi Cooler and Blue Lagoon along with a Baghara Chaas. None of the drinks were good.

So overall i would say that, its a decent place to check out once and try something new. Though not a place where you would want to go and cherish food on special occasions or just to devour when you feel like.
